Protecting What Matters

Sustainable Initiative

Majestic Mirror & Frame has embarked on an effort to reinforce and expand its long standing commitment to sustainability and the environment. Majestic Mirror & Frame believes that sustainability and protecting the environment begin with simple solutions at home and the office. That is why they’ve had our Safety and Environmental Management System in place for many years.

Most notably, Majestic adheres to the ISO 14001 standard. This standard addresses various aspects of environmental management. It provides practical tools to help the company identify and control its environmental impact and constantly improve its environmental performance.

Our Fundamental Standards Include:
  • Providing a safe environment for all employees.
  • Prevention of pollution and continued improvement of it.
  • Efficient use of energy and raw materials.
  • Strict compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and County environmental regulations.
  • Paper Recycling
  • Recycled cups and materials for office (non Styrofoam).
  • Energy Star Appliances and Electronics.
  • Use of LED or CFL light bulbs for lighting.
  • Use of digital storage in lieu of paper for filing.

Since 2012, Majestic has required sustainable standards for many of its products. One important standard is the use of Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). MDF is a composite wood product similar to particleboard. It is made out of wood waste fibers, a repurposed material, that is glued together with resin, heat, and pressure. MDF is appropriate for many applications, from cabinetry to moldings, because it is smooth, uniform, and will not warp. Most importantly, it uses materials that would normally go to waste.

Majestic Mirror & Frame is proud of its sustainability efforts and will continue to support this commitment to use sustainable materials, provide high quality products and ensure the protection of our environment.
