As you may have already heard, the U.S. Government has officially imposed an additional 10% tariff on a wide variety of products imported from China — including all backlit and framed mirrors. We anticipated this scenario, prepared accordingly, and have enacted the following policy in consideration of our customers:
Backlit Mirror Orders
- We will absorb 100% of the new tariffs on back-lit mirrors that ship from Majestic Mirror & Frame before December 31, 2018.
Framed Mirrors & Makeup Mirror Orders
- We will absorb a portion of the new tariffs on all framed mirrors shipped from China. Customers will be responsible for a 5% increase in the purchase to cover the remaining portion of the new tariffs.
- We will send out additional invoices for any jobs that have been pre-billed and that have not arrived into a U.S. port.
- All future invoices for net 30 accounts will include 5% added to the purchase.
