For our latest edition of Project Spotlight, we are excited to feature Alice O’Keefe, Director of Design & Architecture for the Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. This fabulous resort is the latest player to make its mark as the go-to entertainment hub on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas.

What is the concept behind Circa Resort & Casino?
The concept behind Circa is celebrating time; there is nothing more valuable. Combining both the new and old that makes up Las Vegas’ history, Circa was built to create a new legacy ensuring our guests to have the time of their life. We evaluated the specific details of the concept that would be captured in all aspects of the property. Circa is pioneering, spirited, charismatic, approachable, personalized and timeless.

Circa Resort & Casino has a unique mirror design. Can you tell us more about the mirror shown in the photo? What was your inspiration for the room & mirror design?
It was important that the overall design of the room was consistent with our brand. We have design details from all the eras represented throughout the property. The mirrors feature curved edges with polished gold metal frames. This timeless look enhances the experience with continuous front lit lighting, ensuring our guests are always seeing their best self. We combined art deco detailing with modern simplicity. For personalized convenience, we’ve also added a night light at the base of the mirror.
What does the future hold for Circa Resort & Casino?
Circa is the first ground up casino on Fremont Street, in downtown Las Vegas, in 40 years. It pays respect to its neighboring downtown community that was where Las Vegas started while raising the guest experience with an amenity driven property. Circa values the importance of old school hospitality providing our guests with an approachable environment. We’ve left room for expansion and growth and look forward to what’s to come!
